First American is a father and son operation. Our founder's father spent nearly 25 years working with businesses on commercial financing and lender disputes, across every situation you can think of. When MCAs started becoming a serious problem for small business owners, he and his son saw an opportunity to do things the right way. They launched First American together, bringing that deep industry knowledge into a space that desperately needed it.
For the last 15 years, they've focused exclusively on MCA situations. While most firms in this space are brand new and still learning, our team was already working through lender disputes and negotiated resolutions long before most business owners had heard the term "merchant cash advance."
